Our children are fascinated by the theme under the sea, from the bright colours to the animals.
Depicting a coral reef, our nursery staff made an incredible tuff tray filled with colourful pasta for the children to enjoy sensory play. They are becoming familiar with different sea creatures and enjoy imaginative play with them.
Learning about sea life, the children have also enjoyed making many fantastic activities and crafts. The majority of the art was made from recycled papers, with the children creating their own fish tanks out of paper plates, with cut outs of different fish and cleverly using cereal to look like fish food.
We also spoke about the different kinds of animals living under the sea, names and shapes, and the different plants and colours we may find.
