We recently celebrated ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ day at the nursery. We took this opportunity to encourage preschool to do kind things for each other and others. We all went for a walk to two different local businesses and gave them a gift and a card as an act of kindness.
The children also created their own teddy bears to gift to family or a friend. We found by just talking about doing kind things for others during circle time, throughout this week the children have been doing many acts of kindness. For example helping each other put their coats on their pegs and sharing toys.
