The children have had a brilliant month of Christmas crafting during the festive period. We have made our very own penguins out of paper, snowmen and trees out of play dough (which we made from scratch) and enjoyed a Father Christmas sensory tray.

The children have worked on their motor skills and hand-eye coordination, using tweezers to pick up different pompoms to decorate the Christmas tree and recognising different colours of pasta and rice, to create different patterns.

The children also loved wearing their Christmas jumpers and have learned to recognise the changes that signify winter and Christmas, such as wearing warmer clothing, including gloves and scarves.
