The children have had a fabulous week exploring and celebrating Chinese New year! They had the opportunity to do a lot of colourful activities to celebrate the event.
They thoroughly enjoyed playing in their very own Chinese restaurant that we made and listening to Chinese music while having their lunch. We also made our own sushi, which the children enjoyed rolling themselves and feeling the different textures. We also enjoyed making lanterns and learning about different cultures. They developed their fine motor skills when using tweezers to pick up noodles and paint their own signs.
